Inspiration by Toastmaster program, members come to XFiR will take the following roles alternately every week. There will be at least 8 members every meeting, which takes long about 90 minutes to 120 minutes.

- Host: Conduct and announce roles, topic of the meeting.

- Speakers (2-4 people): Give speeches (Prepare before meeting with guidlines* and the related topic.

- Evaluator: Listen and give feedbacks to speakers in terms of ideas, body languages of their speeches

- Ah-Counter: Count the number of “filter words” (ah, um..) each speaker use.

- Grammarian : Provide the word of the day and its defination which related to the meeting topic. If speakers use the word of the days or say something well or have some grammar mistakes, the grammarian will call attention to it.

- Timer: Each speaker has the limited time to present their speech and Timer will help speakers to manage their performance time.

- Table topics-speaker*: He or she will be invited to give a speech related to the meeting topic by host. Members, who have still not taken any roles, will be selected to respon on the spot.

Attendees can not take the same roles for two weeks in succession to make sure every member will have been through every role.
