First Moscow State Medical University will hold an English-language aceleration program from September 1 till December 20, 2025 to increase the level of knowledge and competencies of foreign students in the field of technological entrepreneurship.

The Sechenov Tech acceleration program at Sechenov Moscow State Medical University is an initiative that allows involving young specialists in the field of innovative medicine and technological interpreneurship in biomedtech.

The main purpose of the accelerator is the development of competencies (improving the personal and professional skills of a biomedtech entrepreneur), the development of startups and teams (helping to assemble a technological team and bring a project to its intended goals) and technology transfer (connecting innovative biomedtech solutions and developments with the real health market).

Active students, residents, postgraduates and young scientists of Russian universities interested in creating and developing start-ups in the field of biomedtech are invited to participate in the accelerator:

- Individual students: students, residents, graduate students, young scientists and young doctors who are interested in commercializing the results of their intellectual work, or who are ready to join technology teams.

- The project teams with startups, researchers, groups of scientists, Russian university professors and employees of various research organizations, as well as small innovative enterprises at research institutes and universities interested in transforming their ideas into a product and further developing it using the resources of Sechenov University.

The Sechenov University accelerator is focused on the search, selection and support of innovative biomedtech projects for joint development and product launch. The purpose of the accelerator is not to sell your products to Sechenov University, but to gain industry, entrepreneurial, legal, financial, research and clinical expertise to make your product better.

On the demo day of the case championship, a presentation of stratups will take place. The teams need to present a final three-minute presentation of their solution/product at the pitch session. Following the results of the event, the three best case championship projects will receive cash grants.

The acceleration program to support project teams and student initiatives for the formation of innovative products is carried out within the federal project "Technologies" of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy" of the state program of the Russian Federation "Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation" in 2025., as well as within the framework of the program for the development of the HelthNet National Technology Initiative with the support of the National Technology Initiative Project Support Fund and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
